• The Patron Saint is Saint Ampelio, whose feast is celebrated on the 14th of May, with fireworks and a procession.
• The popular feast, Sagra della Berlecata, held on the first Friday of August, is an alliance between music and gastronomy, organised by the municipal tourist board of Sasso. The Sagra takes its name from the "berlechin", a drink that is a mixture of wine and fruit, similar to sangrìa.
• Il Corso fiorito (The flowered way) at the end of January, in nearby Sanremo, where the famous Italian song festival is held between the end of February and the beginning of March.
• The tennis opens (16.4-22.4.12) and Montecarlo formula 1 grand prix (24.5-27.5.12).
• The battle of flowers, in the month of June, which is held in Ventimiglia.
